Set out on a 4x4 adventure through back-road territory into the spectacular Snowy River and Alpine National Parks.

There is a huge range of entry-level four-wheel driving, to extreme technical descents through rocky gorges and along steep ridgelines.

You’ll notice numbered marker signs around town, which form part of the Back Road Tours, a series of four-wheel driving routes connecting Buchan with the High Country and Mallacoota. Take in the romance of the High Country by looping around Gelantipy en route to Omeo and Ensay. Or explore the far east by dropping toward Orbost, ending eventually at Mallacoota.
