A lovely Mallacoota beach with an ancient vibe, bookended with high cliffs and exposed layers of rock.

Take the kids on a trip to Quarry Beach that aptly resembles a quarry bearing ancient layers of rock. Set your little archaeologists free along the kilometre long beach that is flanked by cliffs up to 30m high.

Despite the numerous outcrops there is a clear space in front of the carpark ideal for swimming, whilst the beach breaks provide a nice swell for surfing.

The area is a popular spot for fishing with excellent access to a range of beach, rocks, reef and headland.

Quarry Beach is a 10 minute drive south of Mallacoota town centre.
