4km, 2 hrs | Point Hicks | Stomp through banksia and heathland along the Thurra River reaching fields of soaring sand dunes.

This is a rare walk full of contrast. It starts with common coastal vegetation and then explodes into a labyrinth of trails amongst sand dunes.

Bring a daypack with some space for your shoes. When you hit the dunes soaring high above the Thurra River, you will want the pristine white sand between your toes.
