Norman Beach

Wilsons Promontory’s king-sized beach is ideal for families and a game of beach cricket.

Wilsons Promontory beaches are blessed with crystal-like water. Norman Beach is no exception with its shallow and gently lapping water, great for most swimmers.

This beach is fringed by Tidal River and is a great place to launch the kayak for a paddle, take a walk along the tea tree stained water or enjoy some boulder hopping. It's also the starting point of the Tidal River to Squeaky Beach Walk.

When you have had enough of hiking in this prized national park, swap for a game of cricket on the flat hard sand of Norman Beach. It is the closest beach to Tidal River Campground, so it can get busy over peak summer periods, but when the tide is out the sandy area is so large and wide that you will be able to find yourself a quiet little spot for relaxing fun.
