The main camping area at Wilsons Prom is located at Tidal River, a 30-minute drive from the entrance to the park. Camping is also possible in other sections of the park for overnight hikers.
No pets are allowed in the national park.
There is a very large campground at Tidal River, the accommodation headquarters of the national park. There are over 480 sites, both powered and unpowered.
There is a large expanse of flat, grassy areas and also more private camping sites tucked into the tea tree scrub by Norman Bay Beach.
There are excellent shared facilities in the campground at Tidal River, including shower and toilet blocks, laundry, convenience store and even a cinema running in peak periods.
The campground books out over peak periods and advance bookings are required.
