18.3km - 36km, 1.5 days - 2 days | Tarra Bulga National Park | This track connects Morwell and Tarra Bulga National Parks, dipping through pockets of rainforest valleys and crossing peaceful farmlands.

Discover peaceful, beautiful places far from the beaten track.

Traverse in solitude except for the distant call of lyrebirds, through rare and ancient rainforest most people will never get the chance to explore.

This trail lets intrepid bushwalkers weave between national parks through underexplored areas beyond park boundaries. Not only discover hidden streams and natural treasures, find a healthy wild population of genetically unique South Gippsland koalas, distinctive to Victoria.

The eastern section of the track can be walked in three complete loops of 1-2 days each: Mt Tassie Loop, Macks Creek Loop and the Tarra Valley Loop. Alternatively you could walk these loops as a continuous circuit of 3-5 days. This allows you to explore a variety of short rainforest walks, waterfalls, picnic areas and the popular Corrigan Suspension Bridge along the way.
