Start your journey filling your energy reserves at one of Mirboo North’s warm country kitchens or take a cooking class with Jacican. Admire the colourful murals adorning the town’s heritage buildings then browse the fashion, craft, textiles and jewellery at the butter factory-turned-gift store, The ARTSpace.

The gentle descent through forest regrowth from the 2009 bushfires makes for an emerald-hued ride. The halfway point at Darlimurla has an information shelter with trail map and the Big Tree, a remnant of the exquisite tall trees that used to grow in the area.

Enjoy the downhill ride and river crossings over arch bridges. When you arrive in Boolarra, enjoy a cheeky treat from the general store or celebrate your triumphant ride with a cleansing ale in the classic rustic pub.
