Walk along the serene slips and down to the beach for a picturesque day out with the family.
The 'slips' are slipways, used in the 19th century to launch and repair ships. Wander along the boardwalks, keeping an eye out for birds and fish (you might want to bring your fishing rod), before heading over the dunes and down to the sea.
Corringle Beach is best for long walks and enjoying the sea air, but not for swimming, as the currents are strong and there's no patrol. Luckily, the view is stunning, and worth the walk.
