6km, 2 hrs | Wilsons Promontory National Park | A gentle inclining amble to peaks affording views of the wild ocean and the serine inlet surrounding Wilsons Promontory.

Follow the sandy Five Mile Road through open banksia and tall grass. Then take in stringybarks and wildflower displays and scramble around giant granite boulders before you reach Vereker Outlook. Atop, take a look to the west to spot Bass Strait and to the north for the serenity of Corner Inlet.

Next on the agenda, is scurrying down the low gradient path to Millers Landing, that sits on the shore of Corner Inlet. This area is home to the world's southernmost stand of mangroves. At low tide, slide over the sinking mud and accompany the busy crabs as they forage before the tide returns.
