Don’t forget your sunnies… the high squint-factor is totally worth it for the crystal-clear waters lapping on the snow-white sand at this hidden-away beach.

Walk for a couple of minutes from the car park along the track winding through coastal scrub, suddenly opening up to reveal this picture-perfect beach. It is like something out of a dream, or a 90s Leo DiCaprio film about getting lost on a magical island.

The sand literally squeaks as you wander along this pristine beach. The beach is framed by weathered granite boulders, with a trickling stream that twists playfully between them.

Explore walking tracks including Tidal River to Squeaky Beach Walk and Loo-Errn Walking Track.

This is a popular spot for confident swimmers and surfers, but even on a busy day the expansive beach doesn’t feel crowded. Bring your underwater camera, for this is the perfect spot to try out a new lens, the water clarity is truly unique.
