- Venture to the Snowy River National Park and visit the Little River Gorge Walk - little by name, but certainly not by nature; the ridge of one of Victoria’s deepest gorges looms at 600 metres high.
- Enjoy an afternoon of riverside relaxation at Balley Hooley, the meeting place of the Snowy and Buchan Rivers, just outside Buchan. It's a tranquil place for camping and fishing, and a popular pull-out point from a river trip starting at McKillops Bridge.
- Discover the spectacular cascade on the Raymond Creek Falls Walk, plunging a fearless 20 metres into a deep, clear pool below.

Fishing
It is a fisher’s playground around Marlo, where the Snowy River meets wild ocean beaches. For the serious fisherfolk, there is a boat ramp on Lochend Road along the Snowy River. Or cast a line in the estuary or platforms along the river. There’s a healthy chance of dinner being something you caught that day with an abundance of bream, luderick, mullet, estuary perch, silver trevally, dusky flathead, Australian bass and mulloway.
