Scurry along what seems like the edge of the world, where giant cliff tops drop to the deep blue below.
The rugged coastal bush is windswept and hardy, yet sublimely beautiful. Climb gently through the weathered vegetation to Tongue Point with views of Darby Swamp, Vereker Range, Darby and Cotters beaches. Rejuvenated by the resplendent surrounds, take a side track to Fairy Cove, or Sparkes Lookout for views of Rodondo Island and Shallow Inlet.
If you want a shorter out-and-back walk, you can park at Darby River car park and walk 1 hour to Fairy Cove (2 hours return). Time your arrival at Fairy Cove with low tide to see the giant natural rock pool surrounded by boulders.
