Discover Rokeby

• Running every second Saturday from September to May, the Rokeby Market is a charming showcase of the region’s best artisans and producers. There are stalls selling everything from fresh produce to handmade jewellery and home-grown plants. Be prepared to load up the car boot with plenty of goodies.

• The Crossover Regional Park is full of towering trees and lush ferns. Part of the Rokeby to Neerim Rail Trail, this nature reserve is worth a dedicated wander. Bring your binoculars for some birdwatching, as this land is full of rare birds and beloved favourites.

• Admire the spectacular garden at Broughton Hall in neighbouring Jindivick, full of charmingly shaped hedges, heritage roses and winding paths.

• Less than 10 minutes up the road is Neerim South, boasting a brewery, wetlands and fine dining restaurant.

Neerim to Rokeby Rail Trail is part of the original Warragul to Noojee rail line. Jump on your bike (or horse) and pass through lush native forest into Crossover Regional Park and onwards to Neerim South.

Rokeby Flora and Fauna Reserve is the best place to look for birds and local wildlife. Here you will find the rare Strzelecki gum and vivid pink common heath, and if you visit between spring and autumn, you might glimpse the Imperial White Butterfly.
