Tinamba Hotel is an award-wining destination restaurant with a fresh take on traditional pub fare. The meals are extraordinary, celebrating locally sourced beef, lamb and seafood alongside fresh Gippsland veg.

Enjoy a drop at the cellar doors of Glenmaggie Wines or Blue Gables Vineyard, along the Central Gippsland Wine Trail. If you’re lucky you’ll get to meet passionate owners of Glenmaggie Wines Tony and Fleur, who have a hands on philosophy. They guide the grape growing cycle from start to finish and the labour of love has paid off with their premium, award winning wines. Blue Gables Vineyard is situated high on a hill, causing the vineyard to experience temperature extremities that create elegant wines, best paired with their wood fired pizzas.

Tinamba Food & Wine Festival (held annually in April) showcases exquisite wines, wholesome local produce and cuisine on the lovely grounds of the Tinamba Hotel.

A short drive (or cycle) out of town, Maffra’s Coffee House 138 does epic burgers and delicious breakfasts, while The Beet Baristas have your afternoon pick-me-up covered and The Food Store specialises in gourmet woodfired pizza.

Treat yourself to handpicked berries and some bubbles, or fresh strawberry ice cream at The Berry Dairy, located just out of Maffra (open Nov - April).
