This natural pool in the gorge on Freestone Creek is a tranquility-overachiever, and the perfect place to cool off on balmy summer days.

This natural pool in the gorge on Freestone Creek, just 40 minutes north of Sale, is a tranquility-overachiever. It seems like something more fitting with the landscapes of the Northern Territory than Victoria.

This deep mystical lake is wide and deep, best enjoyed on a lilo. Laze about on the lake's pebbly beach. It is quite exposed so remember to sunscreen up.
