Discover your own secluded slice of paradise at this cove along the dramatic Bass Coast.

The Oaks is one of several beaches that make up the Bunurong Marine National Park. The look-out point from the road offers spectacular elevated panoramas. Keep your binoculars handy between May - October to watch the majestic humpback and southern right whales pass by the coast on their migratory journey.

This 250m sandy stretch of beach offers a welcomed break in the rocky coastline. While this beach is exposed to the full power of the Southern Ocean, there are good beach breaks for surfing.

Activities: Surfing, fishing and rock pooling. Caution is advised for swimmers due to strong rips
Access: A foot track enters the beach from the road. While the track is not long, it passes along a bluff of 30m elevation so some fitness is required
Dogs: No dogs permitted
