1.4km - 4km, 20 - 50 mins | Nowa Nowa | Wander around the town of Nowa Nowa, sitting at the edge of Lake Tyres.
Break up your journey into bite sized adventures, or join them together to create a longer two hour walk encompassing all of the regions highlights.
To combine all the options, stick the western side of Bruthen-Nowa Nowa Rd. Start at Gorge Lookout nestled along Boggy Creek then follow it down stream via Boggy Creek Gorge. The waters of the creek accompany you past town favourites like the pony club and tennis courts.
This is where the 1km Sculpture Walk begins. Spend some time here taking in the variety of art exhibited, from heavy stone carvings to sharp metal cut outs.
Next up, marvel at mother nature along the 1km Wetlands Walk. As the water winds its way to Lake Tyres, the path continues inland. This takes you on the uphill scramble on Banksia Boulevard for great vantage point over the lake.
The boulevard spits you out at the famous East Gippsland Rail Trail, venture along here for 1.3km to the Trestle Bridge or turn right and head back into town for 3.6km.
