A series of lovely bush trails that follow an old tramway along the Mississippi Creek.

Explore the tranquil Colquhoun forest by pedal along a choice of MTB trails linking Lakes Entrance and the East Gippsland Rail Trail. Enjoy a packed morning tea in the quarry listening to the calls of the bellbirds and discover the remains of the old marble quarry. Revel in stunningly beautiful green surrounds and stay protected even when near the road by the thick shrub lining the trail.

There are a number of ways to ride it, ranging from a long ride following the East Gippsland Rail Trail from Bairnsdale to a short family-friendly ride from Log Crossing to the Mississippi Creek Quarry and back.

Bairnsdale – Lakes Entrance - 65km one way

Bruthen – Lakes Entrance - 36km one way

Lakes Entrance – Log Crossing - 13.7km return

Log Crossing – Mississippi Creek Quarry - 15km return
