Make your way down a windy staircase to discover your own secluded slice of paradise along the Bass Coast.
Shack Bay is one of a collection of bays and coves tucked into deep cliffs along the Bunurong Coast. These great cliffs make for superb vantage points to take in the contours of this dramatic stretch of coastline or to spot whales (May to November).
The beach is a relatively protected bay, although rips are strong. There are good surf breaks here - but take care of the rocks.
