14.4km | Sale | This is an easy, enjoyable family ride which takes in the manicured scenery around the lakes.

After riding a short distance over quiet roads you enter the Sale Common which is a more rustic wetlands habitat, so make sure to look for bird hide in this area. Also take a trip through history as you ride by the wrought iron swing bridge, built in 1883.

The natural appeal, local history, information boards and the botanical gardens all make the ride more interesting. With plenty of good picnic points on the way it encourages a relaxed pace.
