1.2km, 40 mins | Raymond Island | Stroll beneath towering gums and spot koalas dozing in the treetops, beginning just steps from the ferry.

This gentle trail invites you to slow down and take in the sights and sounds of nature. Look up into the treetops to see sleepy koalas, listen for native birdsong, and keep an eye out for kangaroos grazing along the way.

Getting there is all part of the adventure - the five-minute ferry to Raymond Island departs regularly from Paynesville and is free for pedestrians and cyclists. Once across, wander with your eyes in the trees, or hire a bike from Ride the Koalas and explore at your own pace, with single, two- and four-seater bikes available just behind Ferry Park.
