  • At times a sand bar blocks the river’s course to the ocean, making a crossing to the other side of the river.

  • The mouth of Powlett River is your playground on a hot summer’s day, so take your boogie boards, kayaks and inflatable rafts.
  • The rips and reefs make Cemetery Point, at the opening of Powlett River, an ideal beach fishing spot.
