With thrilling descents, tight switchbacks and narrow escarpments, this route is not for the faint-hearted.

This is a second-to-none four wheel drive destination and one of the most popular in Victoria, where narrow ridge-top tracks and tight switchbacks make for white-knuckled thrills. The dirt tracks tour through secluded and abandoned villages with epic views of Wonnangatta Valley, the Alps and even the distant Gippsland Lakes.

There are ample camping spots along the way.
