The Ridge House

Perched high on a ridgeline overlooking a valley stretching toward Mount Baw Baw, the fully renovated farmhouse sleeps up to eight guests across three queen bedrooms and a fourth room that converts to a queen on request. Everyone gets their own room, which suits couples, families, girls' weekends and small groups wanting space, nature and comfort.

Made for slow mornings, long lunches and fireside evenings, the house is designed to help guests settle in and switch off. Host Kristy has considered every detail, from a crackling indoor fire ready to light to complimentary breakfast provisions featuring produce from Gippsland makers, including honey from the hives on the neighbouring farm.

Two private walking trails wind through towering ash gums and fern gullies. The Tramway Track follows the route of the original 1880s logging tramway. At sunset, many guests take the stairs from the back deck down to Loggers Lookout, a timber viewing platform overlooking the valley.

At the gateway to Gippsland, The Ridge House is a home base for the wider region: South Gippsland villages, wineries and beaches, Wilsons Promontory, and the lakes of East Gippsland.
