The Berry Dairy is a family-owned pick-your-own strawberry farm and café located on a working dairy farm just outside Maffra in beautiful Gippsland, Victoria.
Open seasonally from October to May, The Berry Dairy offers a unique paddock-to-plate experience where visitors can reconnect with farming, food and the countryside.
Pick your own spray-free strawberries, wander through the seasonal lavender patch, meet friendly farm animals in the petting zoo and enjoy real fruit ice cream made with local strawberries. Children can explore the adventure playgrounds and Discovery Trail, while adults relax with coffee, breakfast, lunch and local Gippsland produce in the farm café.
For a behind-the-scenes experience, guests can book a dairy farm tractor tour, travelling through the paddocks to learn about pasture, irrigation and modern dairy farming before visiting the dairy to see cows being milked. VIP animal feeding experiences are also available, offering small groups the opportunity to feed calves, rabbits, chickens, lambs and goats before opening hours.
The Berry Dairy is proudly dog-friendly, featuring a fully fenced 80-metre off-leash dog park, accessible facilities and plenty of space to explore. Visitors can also browse the farm-themed gift shop, stocked with local produce, toys, gifts and Berry Dairy merchandise.
