Come and experience the wilderness of the Mitchell River National Park, by packrafting down the river.

This iconic park is only around three hours from Melbourne, and offers the first-timer or experienced paddler a great experience. Their instructors love this trip, and are excited about showing you their favourite places on the river.

This trip is suited to the adventurous and those with some paddling experience. You will start the day with a short walk down the hill to Den of Nargun and the Mitchell River. You will need to carry all your gear for the day in a hiking pack. Once you arrive at the river you will pack and inflate your pack rafts and get on the river.

Make a weekend of it, and stay at the Echo Bend Camping Park. Take in the Den of Nargun indigenous site and simply relax.
