Creative Harvest Festival 2027

2027 marks its tenth year.

Private gardens open across the region on a self-guided trail, each with its own approach to growing food. From compact suburban backyards to larger rural properties, every garden shows that productive gardening can be beautiful, practical and achievable, regardless of size.

Along the trail, visitors meet the gardeners who grow there, discover new ideas for fruit and vegetables, and learn practical techniques to take home. Free in-garden talks and demonstrations cover composting, healthy soils, preserving your produce and sustainable food production.

Creative Harvest also features hands-on workshops, local artists, makers, food experiences and creative displays across selected garden locations, creating a festival atmosphere that celebrates the connection between gardening, creativity and community.

Whether visitors are experienced gardeners or planting their very first vegetable patch, Creative Harvest offers inspiration, practical ideas and conversations that encourage everyone to grow more of their own food.

Presented by the Baw Baw Sustainability Network, Creative Harvest has opened garden gates across West Gippsland since 2018, bringing together gardeners, growers, artists, volunteers and visitors to celebrate where good things grow.
