Ashridge Truffles

Located in the rolling hills and forests of this exciting emerging truffle region in the foothills of Mt Baw Baw, this is a destination not to be missed.

Guests follow the truffle dogs through the truffière as they search beneath the oak trees for ripe French black truffles. The hunt is followed by a relaxed tasting around the fire, where visitors discover how fresh truffles are grown, harvested, stored and enjoyed. Small groups, genuine farm access and personal storytelling make the experience especially suited to food lovers, couples and visitors seeking an authentic regional experience.

Ashridge is located at Neerim South on the road to Noojee, within easy reach of Melbourne for a winter day trip. Visitors can combine their truffle experience with Noojee's forests, waterfalls, historic trestle bridge, country dining and seasonal Noojee Truffle Festival events. Advance booking is essential.

Throughout winter, guests can explore the farm, learn the fascinating story of French Black Truffle cultivation and experience the scenic beauty, stunning views and heritage of this unique area. Truffle hunt experiences and special events can be booked June through August. Other times by appointment.
