The 1st Stratford Scout Group is celebrating a monumental milestone: 100 Years of Scouting spanning from 1926 to 2026.

To mark a century of adventure, leadership, community service, and friendship, the group invites current and former Scouts, Leaders, families, and community members to join in the Centenary Celebration. Everyone is welcome to pop in for an hour or stay for the entire day to help honour the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future.

The Centenary Day Program features a packed schedule of engaging activities and historical showcases for visitors of all ages. Attendees can explore a historical display of photographs and memorabilia capturing 100 years of Scouting history, witness the official unveiling of the new Stratford Scout Flag, and take part in hands-on building projects alongside classic Scout games and activities.

The event also highlights amateur radio demonstrations with radios to try, JOTA-JOTI activities and displays, cooking demonstrations, and opportunities to meet former Scouts and Leaders. With a barbeque lunch, drinks available and plenty of prizes galore, it promises to be a memorable day of celebration for the entire community.
