Mitchell River

Affords a calm rafting experience, with many restful pools, even during the flowing spring season. Take your trip to the next level, twisting through spectacular granite ravines and include a stop at the mysterious and ancient Den of Nargun.

Grade: 2 - 4 rapids

Distance: 30km

Entry: Angusvale

Exit: Final Fling (private property) on Alexanders Road, just before the Glenaladale Bridge.

Anglers Rest White Water Rafting

Mitta Mitta River

Get the adrenaline pumping on the Mitta Mitta, with over 60 rapids. This is a freshwater fiesta that will delight you with the beautiful surrounds and awesome wildlife.

Thomson River

For those who want to enjoy a pleasant day out on the rapids, leaving out the heart-stopping moments, the Thomson River is your best option. It is a peaceful event with easy rapids the whole way. At certain times of the year, there may be catchment water releases.
