Rhyll is Cowes’ peaceful neighbour, with a village-feel.

Wander down to the gentle foreshore where the long jetty is an iconic piece of the landscape. The seaside town is a favourite for fishing-fanciers. Head out into the sheltered port in your tinnie or take a fishing charter.

Things to do in Rhyll

Land-dwellers can explore Rhyll Inlet State Wildlife Reserve, where you can take the winding Rhyll Mangrove Boardwalk & Walking Trail through mangrove and bushland with views over the inlet.

The Koala Conservation Centre is just down the road, and the treetop boardwalk lets you come face to face with this iconic Australian critter in its natural bush habitat.

At the end of a quiet country road, you will find Purple Hen Wines overlooking the tranquil waters of Western Port. The large, open cellar door takes in a stunning view and is open five days a week.
