About the Gippsland Visitor Services Strategy Project
The project is designed to enhance visitor servicing in Gippsland with the goal of boosting visitor spend, prolonging stays, and elevating customer satisfaction, backed by the State Government's Visitor Services Fund and in line with the Victorian Visitor Services Framework and the Destination Gippsland Towards 2030 Destination Management Plan.
A pivotal element is the creation of a Gippsland Visitor Services Strategy, which emphasises innovative service coordination, stronger links between Visitor Information Centres and regional tourism initiatives, and the integration of technology and inclusive services.
It aims to unify visitor services across the region, bolster Gippsland's event calendar through volunteer and ambassador programs, and develop a detailed, actionable strategy.
Hipscotch has been engaged by Destination Gippsland to develop the strategy and are hosting the survey.
